Mod Tip 2: Summer Care
Planning on doing a lot of swimming in the pool this summer? Here’s a tip to keep your hair from turning a not-so-natural shade of green from the chlorine!
Pre-rinse your hair with fresh water before heading in the pool. This will fill the cuticle, stopping the chemicals from being absorbed by the hair, which is drying, damaging, and causes the green tint NO girl needs this summer!
For even greater protection, rinse hair and follow with a moisturizing conditioner and leave it in before you jump in. Following your swim, make sure to rinse hair well, and shampoo and condition as usual. To complete your summer look, let your hair air dry for a tousled, beachy feel, then add a touch of Face Atelier eye shimmer to your lids, and a light kiss of lip gloss, and you are ready for those hot, summer nights!
