Our team regularly trains with industry-leading brands including ORIBE, Davines, and La Biosthétique Paris, while continually refining the techniques and expertise that help our guests look and feel their best.

Just as importantly, we’re a group of unique individuals who bring our own personalities, interests, and perspectives to the beauty salon. Owner & Master Hair Stylist
Connie specializes in highlights, blonding, and scalp treatments, but what she enjoys most is getting to know the people in her chair. She believes that understanding a guest’s lifestyle, habits, and hair challenges is the key to delivering results they’ll truly love. Guests often appreciate how carefully she listens and how comfortable she makes them feel throughout the appointment.
In 2023, Connie became the owner of MOD Salon, partnering with her husband, Kirby, to shape a new chapter for the salon with a renewed vision built on exceptional hair, genuine hospitality, and a strong team culture.
When she’s not in the salon, Connie enjoys golfing, spending time at the lake, and making memories with family and friends. She’s also a proud dog owner and devoted tortoise mom. Her easygoing nature, sense of humour, and genuine care for people continue to shape the experience guests have come to associate with MOD Salon.
Senior Hair Stylist
Claire specializes in creating hair that works with a guest’s natural features rather than fighting against them. Whether she’s working on men’s cuts, blonding, grey blending, or lived-in colour, her focus is always on achieving results that look beautiful on day one and continue to grow out gracefully between appointments. She values honesty, realistic expectations, and helping guests make informed decisions that support healthy, long-term hair goals.
For Claire, one of the most rewarding parts of hairstyling is the trust that develops over time. She feels honoured when guests turn to her during major moments in their hair journey and loves helping them navigate change with confidence. Outside the salon, Claire enjoys running, music, songwriting, gardening, and spending time with Forrest, her beloved dog and occasional MOD Salon celebrity.
Salon Manager
As Salon Manager, Craig is passionate about creating an experience where guests feel genuinely welcomed from the moment they walk through the door. As one of the first people guests meet and often the last before they leave, he’s known for his warmth, humour, and approachable personality. Craig believes great salon visits are about more than great hair, they’re about helping people leave feeling more confident than when they arrived.
Craig’s favourite part of MOD Salon is the people. He loves getting to know guests, supporting the team, and helping create the positive atmosphere that makes the salon feel welcoming and comfortable. Outside of work, you’ll find him gardening, kayaking, running, reading, or hunting for hidden gems while thrift shopping. His energy and enthusiasm help make MOD feel like home for both guests and team members alike.
Senior Hair Stylist
Dallas enjoys helping guests achieve healthy, beautiful hair through personalized colour services, long hair cutting, scalp care, and restorative treatments. Known for her thoughtful approach and attention to detail, she believes the best results come from listening first, ensuring every guest feels heard, understood, and involved throughout the process. Guests appreciate the time she takes to understand exactly what they’re looking for and bring that vision to life.
For Dallas, hairstyling is about more than the final result: it’s about being part of someone’s confidence journey. She loves meeting new people, building relationships, and watching guests leave feeling like the best version of themselves. Outside the salon, she enjoys gardening, shopping, spending time outdoors, and relaxing with her dog Scarlett, who she affectionately describes as a bit of a diva.

Advanced Hair Stylist
Issie loves creating beautiful blondes, dimensional colour, and long hair transformations, including extensions that add the length and fullness guests are looking for. Guests often comment on her relaxing scalp massages and her ability to truly listen, taking the time to understand exactly what they’re hoping to achieve before a service begins.
The relationships she builds with guests are one of Issie’s favourite parts of hairstyling. She enjoys meeting inspiring women from all walks of life and helping them feel confident and cared for during their visit. Outside the salon, she loves spending time outdoors, exploring nature, attending live music, and expressing her creativity through crafting, sewing, and scrapbooking.
Senior Hair Stylist
KyLee enjoys creating hair that helps simplify her guests’ daily routines while still looking and feeling their best. Whether she’s working on cuts, colour, or blonding services, her goal is to deliver beautiful, practical results that fit each guest’s lifestyle. She believes honest conversations and realistic recommendations are the foundation of great hair, helping every guest make choices they’ll feel good about long after they leave the salon.
For KyLee, the best part of being behind the chair is the one-on-one connection she builds with people. She loves helping guests feel genuinely seen, heard, and cared for while creating an experience that’s relaxed, efficient, and tailored to their needs. Outside the salon, KyLee enjoys powerlifting, discovering great food, and spending time with her two dogs, Ferd (a Pomeranian familiar to many MOD guests) and Lola, her sweet senior Chiweenie.
Associate Hair Stylist
Lauren is known for her attention to detail and her ability to create customized colour that feels effortless, natural, and uniquely suited to each guest. She particularly enjoys lived-in colour and helping guests achieve their desired length and fullness through hair extensions. As someone who wears extensions herself, she brings a personal perspective to the experience. Lauren believes great results start with honest conversations and thoughtful consultations, helping guests choose looks that feel beautiful while fitting their lifestyle and maintenance preferences.
What Lauren loves most about being behind the chair is the opportunity to build lasting relationships while expressing her creativity every day. Outside the salon, you’ll often find her practicing yoga, reading fantasy novels, or working on her cooking skills. She approaches life with a sense of style and fun, believing that when you look good, you feel good too.
Senior Hair Stylist
Makayla brings a creative, expressive approach to hairstyling, with a particular love for alternative cuts, expressive colour, and lived-in looks. Her eye for detail is matched by an honest, collaborative approach to consultations, helping each guest create hair that reflects their personality and works for their everyday routine. She believes the best salon experiences happen in a welcoming, inclusive space where people feel comfortable connecting and sharing their stories.
The beauty industry has played an important role in Makayla’s own journey of confidence and self-expression, inspiring her to help others express themselves through their hair. Outside the salon, her creativity continues through painting, sewing, sculpting, and whatever new craft captures her interest. She also enjoys working out, thrifting, camping, and spending time in the sun and by the water. Guests might be surprised to learn she’s equally happy getting dirty on a farm or heading out into the bush.

Our team offers a full range of cutting, colouring, blonding, balayage, hair extensions, scalp treatments, and styling services. If you’re unsure which service is right for you, we’re always happy to help guide you.
This depends on your hair type, style, and personal circumstances, but we generally recommend every 6-8 weeks for trims and colour maintenance to keep your hair healthy and looking fresh. Your stylist can recommend a schedule that’s right for you.
Absolutely. Many of our guests choose to see the same stylist for every visit, and we’re always happy to book you with your preferred team member whenever possible.
